The 3rd Annual Reporting 3.0 Conference from Nov 12-13 2015 in Berlin closed with great insights into the next generation of reporting, accounting and data. For EQi – The Environmental Quality Intelligence Group, I have participated in the conference and the workshops, engaged in wonderful discussions and took the effort to summarise some thoughts on the state and future of integrated reporting.
A Critical Review of Sustainability Reporting
Sustainability reports have graduated from
- Merely being environmental reports:
- To include broader topics with multiple capitals integrated into the financial reporting frame
Various governments and stock markets have put regulations in place, requiring such integrated reports by law; the EU directive being one.
